We love supporting brand new families with babywearing – and we are happy to offer 4 weeks FREE hire of slings, wraps and carriers for newborn babies!
This is supported with funding from Family Toolbox – Tips and Tools for Family Life in Wirral.
1. Who is eligable for a free hire?
The hire is for a baby under 12 weeks old (corrected) who is a Wirral resident.
Not a Wirral resident? We can still support you if finances are a barrier, please contact us to book in.
Funding for this scheme is limited, so if you can afford the usual booking fee and hire fee please consider paying to enable us to support as many families as possible.
2. What slings, wraps and carriers are included?
Stretchy wraps, Close Caboo, ring slings, woven wraps, Marsupis and newborn specific carriers such as the Dooky Be One and Hatchling are included.
Longer term buckle carriers are NOT covered by the scheme unless specifically required – this is the decision of the babywearing consultant.
3. Do I need to make an appointment to get my free sling?
Yes, you need to attend one of our Small Group session – these are held across the Wirral. One of our babywearing experts will help you to find the right sling, wrap or carrier for you and to use it safely.

4. What information do you need from me?
You need to sign up for our hire system in advance of the session here
Please add your payment card details under Payment Methods – you won’t be charged for your free hire, this just acts as a deposit!
After your hire, you will be asked to fill out a quick feedback form – this helps us to make sure we are meeting your needs!
5. Can I extend the hire after the initial 4 weeks?
Yes you can, this will be at our usual hire fee of £16 per 4 weeks. If this isn’t affordable, let us know as we can usually offer a free of hire extension.
6. I already have a sling, wrap or carrier – can you help me with that?
Yes, you can book on to one of our small group sessions and we can help you to carry safely and comfortably.
